Overview

The Izmir September Padel Tournament blends the free spirit of the Aegean and its seaside way of life with the excitement of padel. On the weekend of 19-20 September 2026, pairs from modern courts in Bornova, Karsiyaka and along the Cesme road battle it out behind the glass walls. Izmir's soft September sun and cooling evening breeze set the perfect stage for long, enjoyable matches; the energy that begins on the waterfront carries over to the court.

Tournament Format

The tournament is played in pairs. In the americano group stage every team plays plenty of matches and collects points, after which the best advance to the knockout rounds. This system guarantees a full day of play while keeping the flow exciting and open to surprises. Matches run under referees and a scoring desk following padel's official rules.

Categories and Levels

There are beginner, intermediate and open divisions, plus women's, men's and mixed categories. In Izmir's relaxed, cheerful padel community, everyone is matched with opponents at their own level. Those struggling to find a partner can request pairing during registration and team up with a suitable player.

Registration and Prizes

Registration is completed securely and quickly through Sporara; with limited places, early sign-up pays off. The fixture and court times are shared in advance. At the closing ceremony, category winners receive trophies and medals, and top finishers earn surprise gifts. Water, refreshments and a pleasant lounge area await participants. Every padel lover who wants to live out September with sport, smiles and competition in the capital of the Aegean is invited to this gathering in Izmir.

Why Padel in Izmir?

Izmir's relaxed, enjoyment-focused way of life aligns perfectly with the social spirit of padel. The active lifestyle that begins on the waterfront carries over to the court network of Bornova and Karsiyaka, offering an atmosphere where the city, the sea and sport intertwine. This tournament gathers the warm Aegean community in a competitive yet smiling setting.

How the Tournament Day Flows

After morning registration and a short briefing, the americano groups begin. A midday break offers refreshments and rest, and the afternoon raises the tempo with the knockout rounds. The day ends with the finals and prize ceremony. Participants only need to bring a racket and suitable clothing; balls and court setup are provided.
