Izmir, the cheerful city of the Aegean, hosts an individual bowling tournament as refreshing as a coastal breeze on the weekend of September 19-20, 2026. From the lively campus energy of Bornova to the vibrant nightlife of Alsancak and the modern malls of Karsiyaka and Bayrakli, the relaxed and joyful spirit of Izmir's residents is carried onto the glossy lanes of an indoor bowling alley. As the summer heat gives way to cool evenings, we open the season with delight.
The tournament is played in an individual format; every player competes with their own ball, their own rhythm and their own score. In the qualifying stage everyone bowls 3 games, and the total of these three series determines the ranking. The players who reach the highest totals advance to the grand final, where the championship is decided in a single final game with last-second excitement. An optional handicap system is in place for participants who want it, so both beginners and masters can compete on the same line.
Izmir's spacious bowling alleys are known for their wide seating areas, digital scoreboards and a relaxed atmosphere reminiscent of the sea breeze. Thanks to well-kept lanes, balls of various weights and comfortable rental shoes, every participant feels at home from the very first throw. Single-match knockout from the quarter-finals onward. Extra time + penalties in case of a draw.
Teams consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 players. ID details and a health report are required for each player. The registration fee is charged per team and is non-refundable for incomplete teams.
