Under the bright Mediterranean sun, Antalya stands out for its active sporting life as much as its tourism, with a lively table tennis scene stretching from hotel sports facilities to neighborhood clubs. The coastal city's energetic rhythm suits ping pong, a fast and high-tempo game, perfectly. The individual tournament on the weekend of September 5-6, 2026 promises cool, focused competition in an air-conditioned hall as the summer crowds thin out. Early September is an ideal meeting time for both local athletes and guests extending their holiday.
The tournament is played individually; each athlete steps to the table trusting their own reflexes and speed. It opens with a Swiss-system group stage, so everyone plays multiple matches against opponents near their level. Those who emerge advance to a single-elimination bracket. Sets are played to 11 points; group matches are best-of-5 (first to 3), while elimination and final matches are decided over best-of-7 (first to 4). All matches follow official ITTF rules, with service, net height, point timeouts and racket inspection applied under referee supervision.
Beginner, intermediate and advanced categories ensure every player finds a fair contest at their own level. Anyone aged 16 and over who lives in Antalya or is in the city on holiday may apply. If you answer fast balls with sharp reflexes, keep up with high-tempo rallies, and hold your focus even on a hot day, this tournament has a place for you.
Registration is completed through Sporara's secure payment system; places are limited, so early sign-up is an advantage. The fee includes air-conditioned hall use, official match balls and refereeing. At the closing ceremony after two days, the top three in each category win trophies and medals, while the day's most sportsmanlike player receives a special plaque. To bring the Mediterranean's energy to your racket and enjoy the cool hall's sharp rivalry on a sunny weekend, reserve your spot on Sporara today. On September 5-6, Antalya's tables await you.
8 groups × 4 teams, single round-robin. The top two of each group advance to the next round.
Single-match knockout from the quarter-finals onward. Extra time + penalties in case of a draw.
Teams consist of a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 6 players. ID details and a health report are required for each player. The registration fee is charged per team and is non-refundable for incomplete teams.
