Overview

The Ankara September Padel Tournament unites the capital's disciplined, passionate sporting culture with the dynamism of padel. On 12-13 September 2026, pairs from the modern padel clubs around Cankaya and Cayyolu compete for the title on glass-walled courts. Ankara's dry, cool September air offers ideal conditions for long rallies and fast-paced matches; unlike the summer heat, players can stay in top form all day.

Tournament Format

Played in pairs, the tournament opens with an americano group stage in which every team plays many matches and collects points. The best pairs from the groups advance through single-elimination rounds to the final. Matches are held under a scoring desk and referees, following padel's official scoring rules, so competition remains fair and transparent.

Categories and Levels

There are beginner, intermediate and open divisions, along with women's, men's and mixed pair categories. In Ankara's rapidly growing padel community, both club players and newcomers find balanced, enjoyable matches at their own level. Those without a partner can request pairing at registration.

Registration and Prizes

Registration is handled securely via Sporara; we recommend reserving your spot before the quota fills. The fixture is announced in advance and the court schedule is shared with participants. At the end of the tournament, category champions receive trophies and medals, while runners-up earn surprise prizes. Water, refreshments and a social area are available for all. Every padel lover who wants to turn their September into a weekend full of competition, sport and friendship is invited to this tournament in the capital.

Why Padel in Ankara?

The capital's orderly pace of life and strong corporate sports culture create fertile ground for padel. Modern facilities opened in recent years and courts that fill up after work and on weekends show how deeply the city has embraced the sport. The tournament brings this steady community together in a competitive format, letting players measure their progress.

How the Tournament Day Flows

The day opens with registration and a technical briefing, and the americano groups take the courts in the morning. A midday break offers refreshments and rest, and the afternoon peaks with the knockout rounds. The finals and prize ceremony close the day. Participants only need to bring a racket and comfortable sportswear; balls are provided.
