Taghazout, a small fishing village near Agadir on Morocco's Atlantic coast, is a world-class destination that attracts surfers with its right-hand point breaks. Offering consistent waves throughout the year, the region caters to a wide range of surfers, from beginners to advanced. The town's simple and intimate atmosphere turns surf tours into a lifestyle experience. Surrounded by whitewashed houses and fishing boats, the coastline offers a unique view at sunset.
Anchor Point is the region's most famous spot with its long and consistent right point break, making it ideal for advanced surfers. Panorama Point and Hash Point offer softer waves suitable for intermediate surfers. Banana Point and Devil's Rock, located just south of the town, are calm, shallow waters preferred for beginner lessons. The wind pattern in the region creates clean and organized wave conditions in the morning hours. Thanks to the bays lined along the coast, it is easy to find a suitable spot at different times of the day.
The package includes round-trip flight tickets from Turkey to Agadir, airport transfers, accommodation, daily surf lessons or guided sessions, and basic equipment including surfboards and wetsuits. Breakfast is standard with accommodation, and water and light snacks are provided on surf days. Group lessons are scheduled early in the morning when the wind is still calm.
While spots like Anchor Point require intermediate-to-advanced surfing experience, the shallow beaches around the town are suitable for beginners. The most intense and consistent wave season occurs between October and April; in the summer months, the waves are smaller but suitable for lessons. It is known that Turkish citizens can benefit from visa exemption for short-term tourist visits to Morocco; it is recommended to confirm the passport validity period and current entry rules before traveling. Since the water temperature remains cool throughout the year, the use of a long-sleeved wetsuit is recommended.
