The volcanic terrain creates independent microclimates and wave characteristics across different islands. The air temperature, which remains mild even in winter, makes the islands attractive throughout the year compared to other surfing regions in Europe.

Surf Spots and Wave/Wind Conditions

The El Cotillo and Corralejo regions in Fuerteventura appeal to intermediate-advanced surfers with their consistent offshore winds and reef break waves; the same region is also preferred for kite surfing due to its strong wind corridor. El Médano in Tenerife is a versatile hub where both wave and wind sports can be practiced together. Famara Beach in Lanzarote offers a suitable environment for beginners with its wide sandy shore and consistent waves. Tour Scope and Accommodation

The package includes round-trip flight tickets from Turkey to the relevant island, airport transfers, accommodation, daily surf or kite lessons, board/kite equipment, and essential gear such as wetsuits. Breakfast is included in the accommodation. Daily session times are updated according to wind and wave conditions.

Level, Season, and Documents

While Famara and El Médano are suitable for beginners, El Cotillo and Corralejo require intermediate-advanced experience. The islands are suitable for surfing year-round, with the strongest winds occurring between June and September and the largest waves seen during the winter months. The Canary Islands are part of Spain and within the Schengen area; it is recommended that Turkish citizens travel with a valid Schengen visa and check their passport validity.
