Comprising over 7,000 islands, the Philippines offers one of Southeast Asia's richest diving routes, with a diversity ranging from the Tubbataha Reefs to the macro paradise of Anilao. With deep coral walls, shipwrecks, and rare marine life, the region brings together both classic reef diving and macro photography enthusiasts. The vastness of the archipelago makes it possible to combine multiple dive sites in a single trip. The local people's lifestyle, deeply intertwined with maritime culture, adds an authentic atmosphere to diving tours.
The UNESCO World Heritage-listed Tubbataha Reefs are known for their pristine coral walls and sightings of sharks and manta rays, though they are accessible only during a limited season via liveaboard. Around Malapascua Island, you can dive with rare thresher sharks in the early morning. Anilao is a favorite among macro photographers for its world-class muck diving and nudibranch diversity, while Apo Reef stands out with its vast walls and rich fish population. Reefs around Cebu are also known for whale shark sighting spots depending on the season.
The package includes connecting flights from Turkey, domestic connections, transfers, accommodation or liveaboard lodging, dive organization, guidance, and basic equipment including tanks and weights. Breakfast is standard for accommodation, while lunch and water are provided on boat tours. Domestic flights or ferry connections for island hopping are included in the tour program.
While sites like Anilao and Apo Reef are suitable for the Open Water level, an Advanced certification is recommended for drift dives in Tubbataha and Malapascua. Access to Tubbataha is only possible during the narrow seasonal window between March and June, while other regions are open for diving year-round. It is known that Turkish citizens can benefit from visa exemption for short-term tourist visits to the Philippines; it is recommended to confirm current conditions and passport validity before traveling. It should be noted that domestic flight schedules on remote island routes may change depending on weather conditions.
