What does this tour offer?

Located in the heart of the region known as the Coral Triangle, Indonesia is home to the world's most biodiverse waters, with routes stretching from Komodo National Park to the Raja Ampat archipelago. Strong currents, steep walls, and dense coral cover make the region a dream destination for experienced divers. The scattered island structure makes it necessary to plan most routes via liveaboard boats. The fact that the region has one of the highest coral and fish species diversity in the world makes every dive unique.

Dive Sites and Underwater Life

In Komodo, sites like Batu Bolong and Castle Rock are known for their dense schools of fish fed by strong currents and grey reef sharks. While Cape Kri in Raja Ampat is known for the record number of species observed in a single dive, Blue Magic stands out with its manta ray cleaning stations. The soft coral walls in the region are also the center of macro photography with pygmy seahorses and a variety of colorful nudibranchs. Famous Komodo dragons can also be observed on land tours along the coasts of Komodo Island from time to time.

Tour Scope and Accommodation

The tour includes connecting flight tickets from Turkey, domestic connections, port-hotel/boat transfers, accommodation or liveaboard lodging, daily dive organization, guidance, and basic equipment including tanks and weights. Lunch and water are standard on boat dives. All meals are served on board on liveaboard routes.

Certification, Season, and Documents

Due to the strong currents in the region, an Advanced Open Water certification is recommended, and having drift diving experience is an advantage. The best season is between October and April, when the seas are calm and visibility is high. For entry into Indonesia, Turkish citizens can apply for a visa on arrival or an e-visa; it is recommended that the passport be valid for at least six months and that extra time be allowed for domestic flights. Swimming and basic water skills are required as a prerequisite for those who will participate in long liveaboard routes. Participants prone to seasickness are advised to bring their own medication in advance.
