Accessible by flight from Istanbul, the Austrian Alps are one of the standout routes in Sporara's international ski tours, featuring world-renowned ski resorts such as St. Anton am Arlberg and Ischgl. The Arlberg region is one of the rare destinations that hosts both beginners and advanced skiers alike, thanks to its vast interconnected network of slopes, vibrant village centers, and challenging freeride trails.
Connecting St. Anton, Lech, Zürs, Stuben, and Warth-Schröcken, the Arlberg region forms one of Austria's largest ski areas with over 300 kilometers of slopes. Ischgl is known for its cross-border skiing opportunities at the foot of the Silvretta Mountains, with slopes extending all the way to the Samnaun region in Switzerland. Thanks to high-altitude slopes, north-facing hillsides, and regular snowfall, snow quality remains consistent throughout the season; the region's extensive snow-making infrastructure also contributes to maintaining optimal slope conditions.
Sporara's Austrian ski tour package includes round-trip flight tickets from Istanbul, airport-hotel transfers, accommodation in the selected hotel category, daily skipasses, and guide services. Optional equipment rental services are available for those wishing to rent skis, snowboards, clothing, or helmets; there is no obligation for participants who wish to bring their own equipment. Guided transitions between different valleys in the region are planned to minimize time loss.
As Austria is part of the Schengen area, participants must have a valid Schengen visa and a passport covering the duration of their travel; it is recommended to start the visa application process well in advance of the tour date. The Arlberg and Ischgl region is suitable for both family groups and experienced skiers with its wide range of slopes from intermediate to advanced levels; beginners can also easily participate thanks to ski schools. The ski season typically runs from mid-December to April, with January through March being the period with the highest snow depth and most stable slope conditions.
