What does this tour offer?

The Alps, considered the backbone of Europe, offer one of the most ambitious cycling routes for road cyclists, featuring legendary mountain passes and breathtaking scenery. After flying from Turkey to one of the alpine gateways in Switzerland, France, or Italy, the group embarks on a multi-day tour, crossing from one valley to another each day to experience the different faces of the region, alternating between glacial views and lush green meadows. These passes have been among the most challenging and legendary stages in professional cycling tours for years.

Route and Passes

The program typically combines passes that have made their mark on cycling history: routes such as the Col du Galibier and Col du Télégraphe on the French side, the Furka and Grimsel Passes in Switzerland, or the Stelvio Pass on the Italian border can be chosen; the program is customized based on the region selected. Each day begins in a valley town with a climb to the summit, followed by long and technical descents into the next valley; short breaks at the summits offer opportunities for sightseeing and rest, and warm drink breaks in mountain huts can also be added to the program. Participants who wish can join longer stages that climb multiple passes in succession; staying in traditional mountain houses in valley towns offers a unique pleasure for post-ride relaxation.

Seasonal Conditions

Due to the high altitude, the season is confined to a narrow window; the passes are generally clear of snow and open from mid-June to the end of September. July and August offer the most stable weather conditions; layered clothing and windbreakers are recommended against sudden weather changes.

Who Is It For?

Designed for advanced cyclists ready for long and challenging climbs, and for passionate athletes who want to test themselves amidst mountain scenery. The package includes flight tickets, valley transfers, bike rental options, a support vehicle, an experienced mountain guide, and accommodation with meals. Since the route may cover Switzerland, France, or Italy, a valid passport and Schengen visa requirements must be checked in advance according to the itinerary.
