What is this training?
For those who want to learn freediving in one of nature's most untouched corners, the Karaburun peninsula offers a unique opportunity. Sporara's Karaburun course teaches every fundamental step by step with certified instructors, and the peninsula's deep, clear water provides ideal depth for descent practice.
Why freedive in Karaburun?
Karaburun's deep, clean water is a natural advantage for training. High visibility helps your instructor watch you constantly, sheltered coves suit basic skills, and deeper scenery is perfect for duck-dive and descent practice, all in an uncrowded setting.
What you'll learn
Training starts with correct breathing and relaxation, then equalization, the duck-dive technique, and efficient finning. You gradually build breath-hold capacity through static and dynamic apnea basics, Karaburun's depth offers real descent practice, and the buddy safety system with rescue drills is taught carefully.
Who is it for?
This course suits anyone wanting a solid foundation. Swimmers with basic water confidence and no health restrictions can join. Beginners learn every fundamental, while the experienced refine their technique in deeper water.
