Located just south of Bursa, Uludağ is Turkey's most well-known ski resort, favored for its proximity to Istanbul and its deep-rooted history. Situated at an altitude of 1800-2300 meters and surrounded by beech and black pine forests, it has been the top choice for families and school groups for years. Located within a national park, the resort offers an ideal environment for multi-day camps thanks to its high hotel capacity and advanced infrastructure. Our 5-7 day residential winter camp aims to help beginner and intermediate skiers learn to ski and snowboard in a safe environment surrounded by nature.
The slopes, nestled among forested hillsides, offer significant protection from the wind, providing comfortable conditions especially in areas where younger age groups receive training. Thanks to its national park status, the environment has largely preserved its natural vegetation and is enriched with hiking trails in addition to ski tourism. Due to the influence of the Marmara climate, snowfall can vary, so the camp schedule is planned by evaluating snow conditions.
The package includes half/full board accommodation in hotels within the slope area, ski/snowboard equipment rental, daily skipass, group lessons with certified instructors, round-trip transfers, and health/accident insurance. At the equipment rental point, boots, skis or snowboards, helmets, and poles are provided for each participant based on individual measurements; equipment fit is monitored with daily checks.
Days begin with technical training in the morning and continue with level-appropriate free skiing or group games in the afternoon. The camp is open to children and teenagers aged 8-16, as well as adults who are new to skiing. Progress is monitored in small groups, and social activities and rest times are planned for the evenings. The field team includes staff trained in first aid, and due to the forested terrain, slope boundaries and safety measures are carefully monitored. Detailed information regarding layered clothing suitable for cold weather conditions is provided to participants before the camp.
