Ibrice Harbor (Edirne) Scuba Diving Camp

İbrice, one of the calm harbors of the Saros Gulf, offers a safe starting point for those meeting scuba diving for the first time, thanks to its sheltered structure. This 5-6 day residential scuba diving camp follows a program that starts in the calm waters of İbrice Harbor and gradually progresses toward the open points of the gulf, providing a structure suitable for both trial divers and those looking to improve their certification. The harbor's easy entry and exit facilities also make the pre- and post-dive process comfortable.

Underwater Life in the Calm Waters of İbrice

The seabed around İbrice connects to rocky formations after sandy-pebbly transitions; this structure offers a variety of routes suitable for divers of different levels. The cold and clear water of Saros shows its effect here as well; crabs, octopuses, and various rock fish species can be easily observed in shallow areas, while a richer marine life is encountered at points slightly further from the harbor. The calmness of the water provides an advantage, especially for photography and participants who want to progress at a calm pace.

What Awaits You at the Camp?

Accommodation, all meals, training accompanied by PADI or CMAS certified instructors, and the use of tanks and basic equipment are included in the camp fee. The program begins with practice dives in the sheltered waters of the harbor and progresses to exploration dives in the more open points of the gulf by boat in the following days. Participants who wish can take the international certification exam at the end of the camp.

Who Can Participate and How Is Safety Ensured?

Thanks to the calm structure of the harbor, this camp is a suitable option especially for participants and families who will experience diving for the first time; anyone over the age of 12 who knows how to swim and has no health obstacles can participate. Equipment checks and safety briefings are conducted before every dive, safety is kept at a high level with the use of dive computers and limited group sizes, and a surface support team is ready throughout the camp.
