Located on the slopes of Mount Erciyes, the most magnificent extinct volcano in Central Anatolia, south of Kayseri, Erciyes Ski Center boasts one of Turkey's largest ski areas with an extensive network of slopes ranging from 2200 to 3900 meters. Equipped with modern cable car and chairlift lines, snowmaking systems, and a large slope capacity thanks to recent investments, Erciyes offers plenty of options for both beginner and intermediate skiers. Our 5-7 day winter camp with accommodation aims to provide a safe learning environment on wide and spacious slopes in this region, which is also known for its proximity to Cappadocia.
The wide and regularly sloped sides of the volcanic mountain offer numerous runs separated by difficulty level; this makes it easier for instructors to train beginner students away from crowded routes. Thanks to the continental climate of Central Anatolia, the snow is generally dry and consistent, while the high altitude ensures a long season.
Accommodation is provided on a half-board or full-board basis in hotels near the facility; ski/snowboard equipment rental (boots, skis/board, helmet, poles), daily skipass, group lessons with certified instructors, round-trip transfers, and health/accident insurance valid throughout the camp are included in the package. Equipment is adjusted according to each student's height and experience, and helmet use is mandatory for all participants. The meal program is planned to support intense physical activity during the day, with snacks provided to keep energy levels high.
Mornings begin with technique-focused lessons, while afternoons continue with free skiing appropriate to the level and group activities. The camp is suitable for children aged 8-16, teenagers, and adults new to skiing, with a low instructor-to-student ratio maintained in small groups. Evenings are reserved for rest and social activities. The field team includes personnel trained in first aid, and equipment and slope safety are checked daily; the risk of confusion within the group is minimized thanks to the vast slope area.
