Located in the Eğirdir district of Isparta, Mount Davraz is one of Turkey's unique ski centers, offering plenty of sunny days due to the Mediterranean climate and slopes with stunning lake views. The most distinctive feature that sets Davraz apart from other centers is the ability to see the blue waters of Lake Eğirdir from the slopes, which are situated at an altitude range of 1700-2635 meters. As a relatively smaller and quieter center, Davraz provides an intimate and crowd-free environment for our 5-7 day winter camp with its developing infrastructure.
The slopes, which spread across the southern and western flanks of the mountain, offer routes suitable for different levels; the relatively low crowd density provides a more comfortable training environment, especially for children learning to ski for the first time. The high number of sunny days brought by its proximity to the Mediterranean increases the enjoyment of time spent outdoors during the camp; however, the program is kept flexible as snow depth can vary depending on weather conditions.
The package includes half/full board accommodation in hotels near the slope area, ski/snowboard equipment rental, daily skipass, group lessons with certified instructors, round-trip transfers, and health/accident insurance. At the equipment rental point, boots, skis/boards, helmets, and poles are individually fitted for each participant, and equipment is checked daily.
Days begin with technical training in the morning and continue with level-appropriate free skiing and group activities in the afternoon. The camp is open to children and teenagers aged 8-16, as well as beginner-level adults. Progress is tracked in small groups; during free time, rest breaks are taken accompanied by the view of Lake Eğirdir. The field team includes personnel trained in first aid, and the daily program is updated flexibly according to weather conditions. The relatively mild afternoons of the Mediterranean climate contribute to enjoyable outdoor breaks; this allows participants to both improve their skiing skills and enjoy the lake view.
