Kas Freediving Course

What you will learn

The course begins with a theory session on breathing physiology, relaxation and safety rules. In shallow water you practice diaphragmatic breathing and surface breath-up. You work step by step on equalization, the duck-dive that sends you gracefully downward, and efficient finning. Crucially, you learn the buddy safety system hands-on, plus the basics of static and dynamic apnea.

Safety

You never dive alone; the buddy system applies at every stage. Your instructor watches each dive and can intervene instantly. Breath-hold times increase gradually within your capacity.

Best season and conditions

The season runs May to late October, with June to September offering the calmest sea and best visibility. Morning sessions are ideal.

Location and access

Kaş lies west of Antalya, about three hours from the airport via Fethiye and Kalkan. Training sites are near the harbor, with details shared after booking.
