Your session begins with a short breathing and safety briefing on shore. After gearing up with a mask, fins and wetsuit, you enter the water and practice holding your breath at the surface. Under your guide's watchful eye, you then glide a few meters below, experiencing the profound quiet of the underwater world. Your guide stays beside you at every moment, signaling when to descend and surface.

Safety

Safety comes first in freediving. This experience follows the buddy system; you are never left alone in the water. Your guide maintains constant contact and ensures a safe return to the surface after every dive. Breath-hold times stay within safe limits.

Best season and conditions

The ideal period runs from late spring to mid-autumn, when Marmara's waters are warm and calm. Summer offers the best visibility and temperature. Early morning hours, with less wind, provide the clearest conditions.

Location and access

Mudanya lies on the Marmara coast north of Bursa. From Istanbul, a sea bus or ferry brings you directly to Mudanya pier. From Bursa city center, a short drive gets you there. The exact meeting point is shared after booking.
