What to expect

The experience begins with a welcome and breathing briefing by the cove. Your instructor explains relaxation, correct breathing and how to surrender calmly to the water. Then, in the calm sheltered waters, you make your first breath-hold dives. Sliding beneath the surface with mask and fins, you find a striking silence right beside the marina, always with your instructor by your side.

Safety always comes first. Under the buddy system you are never alone; every dive is under your instructor's direct supervision, and the sheltered cove provides a controlled setting. Breath-hold times are gently adjusted to your limits, never forced.

The ideal period is May to October, when the Marmara is warm and the sheltered cove usually stays calm. Even on windy days the cove's shape preserves comfort.
