Best season and hours

Spring and autumn are the most pleasant periods for tennis in Bursa; the April-June and September-October months are clear and mild. In summer, Uludag's cooling effect is felt, but scheduling the experience in the morning or late afternoon is still most pleasant. In areas near the mountain, even summer is airy. Play is also possible on sunny days in winter, but dressing in layers is needed during that period.

Our guide welcomes you with a smile and starts with a light warm-up. Then, without feeling any pressure, you experience the basic movements, from gripping the racket correctly to clean contact with the ball. Forehand, backhand and simple serve attempts unfold in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. Our guide gives you small tips, but the real aim is not to teach, but your enjoyment. Water breaks are taken and conversation flows; afterward you can explore the city's historic fabric, the road to Iznik, or the famous Iskender kebab. Our aim is to let you experience tennis not as a race but as an enjoyable sharing.

This experience is open to everyone, from beginners who have never played tennis to intermediate players. It is ideal for Bursa residents, those wanting to spend the weekend with a different activity, or visitors to the city. You can join as a family, with friends, or on your own. No special fitness or prior experience is required; comfortable clothing and a cheerful mood are enough.

What to bring

Bursa's weather can be warm on the plain and cool in areas near the mountain; dressing in layers is useful. Choose breathable sportswear and good sports shoes. In summer a hat and sunscreen, and in cooler periods a light top, are helpful. Rackets and balls are provided by us, but you may bring your own racket if you have one. Do not forget to drink plenty of water. The experience lasts on average one and a half to two hours, and the group is kept small so everyone can hit enough balls. When Uludag's coolness, the plain's green and the simplicity of tennis come together, you will see how peaceful and enjoyable sport can be.
