Best season and conditions

The most productive period for surfing at Babalı is generally autumn and spring, when the Black Sea produces regular, powerful waves. Suitable days can also be found in summer, though the waves tend to be gentler. The experience is planned according to weather and sea conditions.

Location and access

Babalı lies on a Black Sea shore in the Kandıra district of Kocaeli, reachable by car from Istanbul in about two to two and a half hours. The meeting point and directions are shared with your booking confirmation.
