Ayvalik Freediving Experience
About the experience
Enjoy your first guided freediving experience in the clear Aegean waters of Cunda Island and the surrounding coves. Framed by olive trees and an island-dotted horizon, meet the deep silence of the underwater world and discover the freedom of gliding on a single breath. This single session requires no diving background.
Why freedive in Ayvalık?
Ayvalık is a captivating freediving spot thanks to the unique archipelago of Cunda Island and dozens of small islets. The sheltered coves between the islands give the clear Aegean water a calm base, creating ideal conditions for a first dive. Olive groves reaching down to the shore complete the island's distinctive atmosphere.
What awaits you in this experience?
Your experience begins with a breathing and safety briefing on land. Your guide explains relaxation techniques and how to stay calm underwater. You then enter the shallow water of a sheltered cove between the islands and try your first breath-hold dives, always at your own pace and safely.
