Horseback riding is suitable for a wide range of participants, including those who have never ridden a horse before; instructors adjust the pace to a walking speed based on skill level. Age and height restrictions are applied for children for safety purposes, and helmet use is mandatory for all participants. Wearing closed-toe, flat-soled shoes and long pants is recommended. The best season is during the spring and autumn months when temperatures are mild; in the summer, early morning or late afternoon hours are preferred to avoid the midday heat, while in winter, the program may change depending on weather conditions.
