Saros Bay Scuba Diving & Swimming Tour

Planned as a day trip out of Istanbul, this scuba diving tour is for anyone who wants to leave the city behind and spend a day in the clear waters of Saros Bay. You set off early by comfortable coach; on arrival at the Saros Bay Diving Centre the day begins with kitting up and a safety briefing.

Departure and Return

There are two pick-up points — 07:00 from Kadıköy and 07:30 from Mecidiyeköy; simply let us know which one you prefer when booking. Arrival at the diving centre is around 12:00. On the way back the coach drops off at Mecidiyeköy at 23:30 and Kadıköy at 00:30.

Who can join?

The tour is open to complete beginners. Accompanied by a certified instructor, a discovery dive is made at a shallow, controlled site; certified divers can dive at a second site suited to their level.

How the day goes

After arrival there is a theory briefing and an equipment check. Diving runs in a long block from 12:00 to 19:00, with free swimming and rest breaks between dives. Saros Bay is known for its low current and high visibility, which makes it a safe and enjoyable setting, especially for first-time divers.

Meals

Because the diving programme runs right through the day, lunch is not included; you can grab something from the centre's buffet as you prefer. On the way back there is a dinner stop in Tekirdağ serving the local speciality, Tekirdağ köfte — this meal is included.

What's included?

Return transport from Kadıköy and Mecidiyeköy, all diving equipment, a certified instructor, boat transfer, dive insurance and dinner are included in the price.
