What does this tour offer?

Located in the northwest of Antalya, at the foothills of the Taurus Mountains, Geyikbayırı is one of Turkey's most preferred rock climbing destinations. Thanks to its limestone structure, thousands of bolted routes, and nature surrounded by pine and olive forests, it offers a suitable environment for both beginners and experienced climbers. The walls, spread across different sectors, host a wide range of routes from short and technical paths to long sport climbing lines. This tour aims to provide a comprehensive rock climbing experience covering different parts of the region throughout the day.

What's Included

The tour includes transfers from Antalya city center to the region, climbing equipment (rope, harness, carabiners, climbing shoes, helmet), and instruction accompanied by a certified mountain guide or climbing instructor. The full-day program includes short breaks and water/snack refreshments; a light lunch may be provided for full-day participants. At the beginning of the tour, participants are informed about basic safety briefings, knot tying, and belaying techniques; the guide provides continuous supervision throughout the climb.

Who Is It For

Geyikbayırı is ideal for those experiencing climbing for the first time with its top-rope routes; it also appeals to advanced climbers with its high-difficulty sport climbing routes. The program can be flexible based on the participant's experience level and adapted to the group dynamic. Children over twelve can participate with a companion; it is suitable for anyone open to physical activity who does not shy away from challenging their upper body and grip strength.

Season and Safety

The climbing season in the region generally offers the most favorable weather conditions from autumn to spring, specifically between October and April; in the summer months, shaded sectors are preferred. All participants are provided with safety equipment, and climbing without guide supervision is not permitted. Comfortable sportswear and closed-toe shoes are recommended; climbing on wet or mossy rocks may be postponed or redirected to safe sectors at the guide's discretion.
