What is this training?
The natural coves along the Kefken–Kerpe stretch of Kocaeli's Kandıra coast offer an ideal setting to learn freediving from the ground up in clear Black Sea water. This certified-instructor course teaches breathing, relaxation, equalization, duck-diving, finning and the buddy safety system step by step.
Why freedive in Kandıra?
Kandıra is one of the most favorable spots on the Black Sea coast to train. The natural coves between Kefken and Kerpe stay calm and clear thanks to their sheltered shape, boosting comfort and safety while learning equalization and static and dynamic apnea. Being uncrowded, they give your instructor a quiet space to observe you closely.
What you will learn
The course covers all core building blocks: proper diaphragmatic breathing and relaxation, equalization methods, efficient duck-diving, and energy-saving finning. You practice the basics of static and dynamic apnea and learn how the buddy safety system works and how to watch and assist your dive partner.

This course suits anyone who wants to learn freediving seriously. Adults who can swim and are in good health are welcome. It is a strong start for beginners and a solid foundation for improving skills. Optional certification is available.
